I love Serbian festivals.

Guca Festival 2008:

We travelled to Guca from Belgrade, the home of the Mega-Mac, surgically-enhanced women and gypsies. Found a really good hostel too up some completely random 9 flights of stairs right opposite the bus station. Quite a bit of graff and street art in Belgrade too.

Man are locked in like them man are HARD.

The view in Belgrade at sunset.

The Serbians love meat. Found in the McDonalds in Belgrade.

Ollie and Neal jamming on Milos' camp where we set up camp. Milos worked as a sound engineer at Exit Festival and played some banging reggae, dub and house tunes into the early hours. He also provided the home made Slivovica (a Serbian plum brandy), one of the most deadly alcoholic drinks you will ever come across.

Plum brandy..

The statue in the middle of Guca's square..

Before Neal got on it..

Drinking by the river... Jelen Pivo - Serbia's number one beer and sponsors of the festival.

Bands in the river.

One of the hundreds of trumpet bands.

The pig being shaved and drained

Just after having its neck slit.

Skewered and ready to be roasted.

The tastiest fish stew I've ever eaten.
